Where to download the manga
So, technically this is old news, but I'll post it anyway, as it may be of interest and use. Four years ago ShoujoMagic and MangaProject got through scanlating approx. one volume (out of twelve) of Yasha into English, although sadly the project was dropped due to a lack of interest.

Anyway these chapters are still around! You can yoink the chapters from either scanlation group: find them on irc at shoujomagic@irc.irchighway.net and #MangaProject@irc.irchighway.net or search their bit torrents. Or if you don't have irc, do the next best thing and download chapter one, part a here. Please let me know if you'd like me to upload the rest.

And as for you lucky, lucky people who can read Japanese, well, there are many online bookstores that stock the Yasha manga. Some of them being Sasuga, JPQueen, etc.

[ETA: Thank you, Mirien3, for finding the Raw scans of the yasha manga -- all 12 volumes; they're at aarinfatasy. *_* ]

I saw it on JPQueen some time ago, but I was totally broke back then XD. Not that I can read Japanese anyway ^^;. But they still have the artbook DOUBLE HELIX, which is indeed very pretty. *mustresisttheurgetobuy*
As for the scanlations, I think I've read one or two chapters long time ago, but I wanted to ask - did the two groups scanlate Yasha separately or as a joint project? Because ShoujoMagic lists Yasha as a "Dropped project", while MangaProject has it still as "Active".

I feel your frustration! While I can't read Japanese fluently, either, volumes 1 - 3 are sitting on bookshelves at home. Ahaha. Er. Well at least I can make icons out of the pretty pictures?

They scanlated Yasha as a joint project, yeah. If you look here you'll see that all their Yasha releases are signed 'MangaProject and Shoujomagic;' and geeze it looks like mangaproject hasn't released (or updated their website) anything in two years.

It happens to me all the time, I'm always broke when I find something buy-worthy ^^;. I can only hope that the English or German publishers pick up Yasha for release (they released Banana Fish already, so I can at least dream XD), because that is possibly the only way I will be able to read it.

Hah, I thought so, thank you for clarifying :).

And uh-huh - I just found the whole Yasha manga as RAWs. Just randomly searched through Aarinfantasy, and it's there. I totally didn't know they were on-line O_o *mustdownloadnow*.

Homg, seriously?

I may have to borrow them from you; had no idea someone had scanned the raws.

Here's the link: http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f65/t26218-yasha_incomplete_raw_complete.html#post796826

I think you must join the forum, but it's free. Or I could reupload them for you somewhere?

Is it possible for you to upload chapter 3? Because I've downloaded the other two but I hate IRC and IRC pretty much hates me. XD Yeah, I know I can just download the raw ones but hey, whatever I can read in english I want to read in english.
If this bothers you, just ignore me XD Thanks anyway.

Never mind, IRC and I kissed and made up. Well... we made up anyway XD For now XD
